Resene vs Dulux Cost in NZ

Both brands sit in the same price bracket for most product categories. Here's where the differences actually are:

• Mid-range interior — Resene SpaceCote ($70–$100/10L) vs Dulux Wash & Wear ($65–$95/10L). Dulux is marginally cheaper at the entry point. Both are excellent products for standard residential walls.
• Premium interior — Resene Zylone Sheen ($100–$150/10L) vs Dulux Professional ($95–$140/10L). Similar pricing. Zylone has a slight edge on touch-up blending; Dulux Professional covers slightly more per litre.

• Choose Dulux if — You want the convenience of buying at Bunnings or hardware stores. The specific Dulux product you need is cheaper. Your painter prefers Dulux. You want slightly better per-litre coverage.
